Six Mile Lake Landowner Survey
This is a reminder to everyone that there is a very important survey happening right now about building size rules and policies on Six Mile Like. The deadline for participation is July 19, 2019.
Your invitation to participate in the survey was sent out by mail to the address you have on file with the Township of Georgian Bay. This invitation contains all the relevant information on how to complete the survey and how to access the supporting documents online. Please note: Owners of multiple properties will receive multiple invitations and are entitled to participate in the survey more than once.
If you have not received your invitation, are unable to complete the survey online, or experience technical issues, please contact the Township Office at 705-538-2337 ext. 242 or 800-567-0187 ext. 242.
The results of the survey will guide your associations and the Township’s Planners and Councillors towards potential by-law and policy changes over the next several years and will provide very important landowners’ opinions on how development surrounding Six Mile Lake should occur in the future.
The survey is completed online. Prior to completing the survey, we strongly encourage all landowners to review all the essential information and literature that has been prepared in support of this survey.
The supporting documentation and the survey can be accessed through the Six Mile Lake Survey portion of the Township of Georgian Bay’s website using this link: https://georgianbay.civicweb.
There you will see 3 PDF files:
- Part A – Essential Survey Information
- Part B – Cottage Size Examples
- Part C – The Survey Questions
It is very important to review all the literature provided in the Part A and Part B files prior to completing the survey. Once you have reviewed those files, then go to Part C to find the survey questions.
Again, your response is very important to us. All responses are confidential and will remain anonymous.
Thank you for your attention to this request. We look forward to receiving your survey input.
