If Canada is winter then, based on this year, we are a strong and persistent lot. I would welcome in a new Six Mile Lake cottage season but I am not sure that winter wants to let go. I do trust that a warm breeze is just around the corner and we will soon be enjoying a dip in the lake. Looking forward to a great summer…

In an attempt to help out and contribute to the Six Mile community, I have taken on the service of webmaster. My name is Rick Racic and, along with my partner, Catherine Fitzgerald, “camp” on beautiful Trans Canada Bay. Yes, I am from the north and we camp – not cottage. Do I know a lot about website building and such? No, but I am willing to try and, hopefully, carry the site forward. If nothing else, I will give our hard working president, David Lynch, a break and allow him to do that important stuff.
