The Township Fire Department has approved our permit for the Fireworks Show this Saturday and it looks like the weather is going to cooperate!

The Fireworks Show will be held this Saturday, August 18th, at approximately 9:30 pm. The fireworks are lit from Fire Island, which is just south of Deputat Island, in the central portion of the lake.

The OPP Marine Patrol will be at the event enforcing a 300 metre keep out zone around the site.

Although Fire Island is a popular day spot on the lake, due to insurance requirements it must be closed to the general public on the day of the Fireworks Show. Only the pyrotechnics team is allowed to be on the island. Please let them do their job without any interference.
