The Township of Georgian Bay has released the second draft version of its revised official plan. This new Official Plan was created using the input from the Six Mile Lake Community and the other communities in the township.

The township has scheduled two Public Open Houses to review the draft Official Plan with the community and obtain community input.

Early in the summer of 2011 the SMLCA ran a survey for the lake community regarding the current Official Plan and Zoning By-Law. The results of that survey were published in August of the same year and were shared with the township planning department.
