Hydro One reports, via Mayor Braid and Councillor Wiancko that

There has been extensive damage in a number of areas from Crooked Bay area through to Bayview, Berwick and Hungry Bay. They estimate about 10 km of lines to repair in Six Mile alone. Detox units are in to take care of all the transformers that were knocked down. Some poles have to be replaced also. They estimate that it may take until Thursday to get everyone back on line. Crews from many parts of Ontario are here and they are working 16 hour shifts.

People may wish come up and empty their Fridges/Freezers and check for damaged lines at their own places and make arrangements to get repairs done. A number of lines on private property are down and some have either bent the hydro stacks on the cottages or ripped them right out. Four additional ESA Inspectors are being assigned to the area to assist in inspections for re-connects.

It may be worth your while to check with your neighbours to see whether there is any damage to your property or go up yourself to verify.
