  • Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign in Port Severn raised $3,306.00 for the Port Severn Nursing Station
  • funds raised from the Township 2014 Mayor’s Golf Tournament resulted in a donation of $1,782.00 to each of Radio for Radiology and Sick Kids Hospital and $3,565.00 to the Port Severn Nursing Station.
  • There were 12 appeals of the recently approved Comprehensive Zoning By-laws 2014-75. Each will hopefully be negotiated or end up at the OMB
  • access to a subdivision on Stewart Lake for the purpose of lot surveys was deferred until the Stewart Lake Assoc. was notified for comments.
  • approval was provided for staff to participate in the planning of the July 24-25, 2015 Lock 45 100 year Celebration. A large gala is planned for the Friday night with the official ceremony and street party on Saturday.
  • the final Honey Harbour Waterfront Plan has been postponed until Feb./March with a public meeting of the Advisory Committee planned for Jan. 22nd.
  • the results of the 2014 Inland Lake Water Quality Study was presented to Council. There were no obvious water quality problems identified.
