Important! You must pre-register to either come to the townhall or to vote.
This GFA (Gross Floor Area) Townhall Meeting is open to anyone with a property on Six Mile Lake. These property owners don’t need to be a member of either the Six Mile Lake Cottagers Association or the Ratepayers Alliance, however, only one person will be admitted to represent each property.
The townhall meeting will be conducted through Zoom. In order to vote on the various options presented, there will be a survey sent to all registered participants through ElectionBuddy (the same tool used for motions at the SMLCA AGM). You don’t need to attend the meeting live, however, we encourage all registered participants to watch the recording which will be posted on http://www.sixmilelake.net if they can’t attend the live townhall prior to voting. Voting will be open for 14 days after the townhall to provide individuals with time to re-watch the recording and vote as needed.
In order to attend the live townhall or vote, please submit your pre-registration by completing the fields below and clicking on the “Register Now” button.
When the form is submitted successfully, it disappears and is replaced with a green banner that says “Thank you. Your Registration has been received.” During registration you may see. a greyed out registration button. For a small number of our users, the form is rejecting registrants trying to fill in the fields with “autofill” (using prepopulated data from their phones/PCs). If you experience this issue, just manually type the required info and it should work!.
If you experience difficulty submitting your registration form, please contact: webmaster@sixmilelake.net
