-Council supported Provincial Bill 279 to filter microplastic from washing machines.

-In partnership with the Township, the TGB Historical Society will be building a series of market stalls at the newly named Bressette Homestead Heritage Park in Port Severn.

-Six pickle ball courts will be built at the HH Park with both private and Township funding. Courts will be built with a permeable surface.

-New community gardens in MacTier will be located behind the Public Library.

-The Township will attempt to hire 2 more Planners to handle the growing work load. Meanwhile planning consultants will be used.

-Staff will continue to adhere to our Vaccination Policy which require twice per week testing for unvaccinated staff members until the Health Unit rescinds the requirement for a policy.

-Cottage Assoc. 2022 Recreation Grants were approved for programs ($1K) and events ($500).

– The Noise By-law has been sent back again to restrict heavy equipment noise on Sundays except for marine launch equipment and increase fines.

-Staff will review their practice of providing planning report recommendations prior to public and council input.
