2022 AGM Election & Voting Results

Thanks to everyone who attended the AGM on October 26 and voted. It was rewarding to see so many Members participate and have their voice heard.

We’re well represented with an acclaimed board of 8 returning Directors from last year and 1 new director. Below is the list of volunteers that were elected to the 2022/2023 Board of Directors:

  3. Rick Jocsak
  4. Ted MacKay
  5. Craig Cameron
  6. Bernadette Mitchell
  7. Brian Ingham
  8. Lib Gibson
  9. Pat Mitchell

The results of the Officers election saw the following individuals acclaimed to their roles:

  • Harold Toiviainen (President)
  • Denise Edwards (Vice-President)
  • Rick Jocsak (Vice-President, Treasurer)
  • Ted MacKay (Secretary)

The results of the one (1) Member raised motion is as follows:

Motion #6 Andrea Ingham (Member) I move that the SMLCA creates a Winterfest committee that could look into creating winter community event (e.g. ice fishing etc.). Passed (98.31%)
