Important information about the Goose Management Program

The Canadian Wildlife Service has recently changed the rules for making the application for migratory bird control programs and this affects the SMLCA’s Goose Management Program.

It is now necessary for landowners to sign a *new* Authorization Form to attest that there is damage and/or danger being caused by migratory birds and that they authorize and support the SMLCA to act on their behalf in an effort to manage and control the goose population on our lake.  The forms are valid for 1 year or 3 years (at the option of the landowner).

It needs to be completed, printed, signed, and given to Neil Munro.  Scanned copies by email can be sent to Neil at: neil.munro@SixMileLake.net.  If preferred, original printouts can be mailed to the SMLCA at:
