On Thursday November 2nd, the SMLCA hosted a Zoom town hall information session on the pending SMLRA OPA. There is a public meeting regarding this OPA on November 13.
In the presentation, both options for wording were considered, the wording that was the product of facilitated discussions between the two groups (red lettering), and the wording that was edited by township staff (green and blue lettering), Click on the link to see both versions. https://georgianbay.civicweb.

It is important for people to either write to Council via planning@gbtownship.ca or participate in-person or online at the public meeting to be held on Monday November 13th. Written comments received before the public meeting will be considered by Council. You can also ask questions at this public meeting.
To attend the public meeting on Zoom, send an email to Alexandra Matthews at amatthews@gbtownship.ca no later than end of day Tuesday the 7th and they will send you an invite.
