  • Members of the Wild Rice Trail Association on Six Mile Lake indicated that they represent the Medland Development, not the SML Cottagers Assoc (SMLCA). A previous resolution was modified to remove an action by the SMLCA. A site plan approval review will continue for the Medland Development.
  • The Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2014-75 was finally approved. Minor changes were made throughout the weekend.
  • District staff are assisting the Township to update and prepare new policies on Health and Safety, Human Resources and Job Descriptions. We are about 1/3 through this process.
  • Approval of the 2015 Council meeting schedule will await input from the new Council
  • The 2014 Recreation/Event Grants were approved: Cognashene and HH Assoc. receive $1K each for their swimming programs and Gibson and Six Mile Lakes get $500 each for their event programs.
  • A Site Plan for the Wawautosa Marina, SML was approved for 2 new, and 1 rebuild storage structures
  • The shoreline Tree Removal and Site Alteration By-laws were passed.

The new Council Inauguration will occur on Dec. 1st with the first meeting on Dec, 8th.
