• Township Council was informed that the 2005 Township and the District of Muskoka Financial Audits will be available by the end of September. The Province extended the deadline for all Municipalities. Council requested that a separate audit be prepared on the new Township facilities for later this year.
• Hydro One will be invited to a future Council meeting to outline their procedures for the handling of power outages in the Township of Georgian Bay.
• The Building Department is preparing a report for Council and the Committee of Adjustment on their ability to regulate the location of septic systems and recommend the use of new septic technology.
• The Township has arranged a public meeting for September 20, 2006 with Provincial lottery representatives to discuss the use of lottery licences by eligible charity organizations.
