Ernst Skalitzky, passed away peacefully at the Hillcrest village in Midland on October 19th at the age of 82. Loving husband of the late Antonia. Cherished father of Steven (Katherine) and Brian. Devoted grandfather of Jason, Nicholas and Alyshia, and step grandfather of Courtney, Nathan and Mitchell. Survived by brothers Hubert (Anni), Robert (Eva) and Herbert, and predeceased by Josef. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland on Sunday October 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Honey Harbour on Monday October 26th at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment later at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Waubaushene.
