The Six Mile Lake Conservationists Club has organized a Fall Hike on Beausoleil Island on Saturday, September 22, 2007.

Start at the Honey Harbour GBI dock where you’ll board the Daytripper.
arriving about 9.30am at Camp Kitchi . Aboriginal Heritage Presenter Shelley Essaunce-Lamarche has offered to talk to the group about the artifacts (the park has a set of replicas that Shelley can show you) and the cultural history of the island. Shelley is an excellent storyteller and educator, I think you’d really enjoy meeting her. At that site and the cultural artifacts that have been found there (other adult visitors to the camp may also attend the program) [Program length: 1 – 1.5 hrs) We will hike to the Fairy Trail, along the Massasauga trail. That will get us to the Fairy Loop by about lunchtime. We will explore the Loop.
3:00 pm
The Daytripper will pick us up at Chimney Bay for a return to Honey Harbour by 3:30 pm.
