SMLCA By-Law Review Public Meeting – June 17/17
At the 2016 AGM a motion was passed instructing the Directors to appoint a committee to review the organizational structure, the by-law and the mission statement of the Association and hold a special meeting of members before the 2017 AGM.
That special public meeting of members will be held on Saturday June 17, 2017, at the Baxter Community Centre in Port Severn from 10am to 12pm. In preparation for that meeting we are inviting members to read a series of by-law statements on our website and participate with us by responding in one of three ways to these general statements which refer to the more critical components of our By-Law #1 changes.
Members can: email their questions, comments or concerns to the By-Law Committee at bylaw@sixmilelake.net or speak directly to one of the committee members listed below or plan to attend the public meeting where you can meet the committee members, learn about the progress and continuing plans of the committee and participate in a more thorough discussion of the proposed statements that will be used to create a revised by-law.
