No one likes garbage, least of all Peter Dionisio and his band of volunteers. Peter wanted to make a difference, so he offered to lead our Six Mile Lake clean-up crew.

The first clean-up event was held on Saturday July 7 at McDonald Dam. The 9 hardy souls volunteered a combined 19 hours and collected enough waste to fill 7 garbage bags.

Aside from the volunteer hour letter that those in attendance earn, everyone had a good time connecting and making a difference. A Six Mile thanks to Peter and his crew.
